Giusi has extensive experience in unblocking factors which hinder development and performance. Our clients are trained to develop new patterns of thinking which increase their ability to deal with pressure as well as overall performance.

Giusi recognises that athletes are engaged under immense internal and external pressures which may increase the risk of mental health and general well-being problems. 

This may result in poor and or inconsistent performance, increased risk of physical injuries, increased risk of performance anxiety and thus troubles in interpersonal relationships. She has vast experience working with athletes transitioning out of sport, athletes that develop substance misuse or problem gambling. 

She encourages all parents, athletes and coaches to seek help early for mental health issues just like they would for any physical health issue.

Giusi continually refreshes her expertise in neurosciences, attachment theory and neuro-linguistic programming. She can share successful strategies that can help you to achieve positive change in your life by exploring and resolving the source of conflicts and dissatisfaction within deep and persistent problems. Giusi has worked with performance artists, athletes and teams from a variety of sports, such as Olympic basketballers, cricketers, AFL and AFLW players and tennis professionals to name a few

Giusi specialises in managing the mental health and player welfare of athletes with specific expertise and focus on mental profiling. As a practicing therapist for over 30 years, she particularly looks at, childhood trauma, attachment styles, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, OCD, anorexia and various addictions.

The majority of her work is via webcam or videoconference technologies such as Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and Google Hangouts

Although we are based in Adelaide and Brisbane (Australia) the majority of our clients live in other parts of the English speaking world. Giusi is fluent in French and Italian with a degree in Languages.

Giusi is able to assist with both mental health challenges (clinical work) as well as mental toughness training (performance work).
